ParkingFight (“ParkingFight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online service that helps individuals prepare informational parking ticket appeal letters. Our website is located at parkingfight.com. For privacy inquiries, contact us at ops@parkingfight.com.

- Account information: Your email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
- Payment information: We do not store your credit card number. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and transaction confirmation.
- Ticket and appeal information: The city, violation type, ticket number, license plate, ticket date, and the description you provide when generating an appeal. This information is necessary to generate your letter and is stored so you can access it from your dashboard.
- Usage data: Log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and troubleshooting purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the ParkingFight service.
- Generate and store your appeal letters.
- Process payments through our Stripe integration.
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts) via SendGrid.
- Respond to your support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data with the following third-party providers solely to operate the service:
- Supabase (supabase.com) — Database and authentication provider. Stores your account information and appeal data on servers in the United States.
- Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com) — Payment processing. Subject to Stripe’s own Privacy Policy.
- SendGrid (Twilio) (sendgrid.com) — Transactional email delivery.
- Vercel (vercel.com) — Web hosting and content delivery.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and appeal letters for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as transaction records, which are retained for 7 years per standard accounting requirements).
7. Your Rights (CCPA / California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: You may request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. There is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise your rights, email ops@parkingfight.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 45 days.
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls that limit who within our organization can access personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
9. Children's Privacy
ParkingFight is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by emailing the address on your account or by posting a notice on the website. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance.
