About ParkingFight
Our Mission
Every parking ticket deserves a fair fight. Most people just pay because they don’t know how to appeal — or think it’s not worth the hassle. We built ParkingFight to change that.
The appeal process is intentionally opaque. Cities bury their procedures in bureaucratic language, deadlines are short, and the right filing address isn’t always on the ticket. We cut through all of that.
What We Do
ParkingFight generates city-specific appeal letters using verified municipal codes for 5,000+ cities across all 50 states. When you get a ticket, we help you find the strongest defense available under your city’s actual rules — then produce a formal letter that cites those rules by section number.
Every letter is addressed to the correct parking authority, includes the right deadline, and is formatted the way those agencies expect to receive appeals.
How It Works
- Pick your city. We look up the exact municipal code, the parking authority, and the filing deadline for where your ticket was issued.
- Choose your defense. We show you the defenses that apply to your violation type in that city — sign issues, meter malfunctions, procedural errors, and more.
- Get your letter. Download a print-ready PDF appeal letter with the legal citations, your chosen defense, and filing instructions for your city.
Our Data
We’ve researched parking regulations, appeal processes, and defense strategies for over 1,100 cities. Every city page shows the real deadline, real parking authority, and real filing process — not generic advice.
Municipal codes change. We monitor for updates and flag cities where we’re aware of recent regulatory changes. We always recommend verifying the deadline on your ticket and confirming the filing address with the issuing authority before you send anything.
