Figures come from the NYC Department of Finance’s Open Parking and Camera Violations dataset on NYC Open Data. The ParkingFight Research Team pulled all 150,400,000 records via the city’s API and aggregated them locally; nothing here is sampled or extrapolated. Dollar figures sum the fine and outstanding-balance fields as published by the city.
Known limits: the dataset is the city’s live file of open and recent violations, not a permanent archive — resolved tickets age out of older years. Most camera violations carry no borough in the source data and are counted citywide but not in borough rows. Data snapshot: September 2026. This page reports public records and is not legal advice.
